So Kate had the opening part on Sunday for the primary program. This is her before church, practicing her part. Kate is great for this stuff. She loves the attention, and is all too willing to learn her part. In fact, this part was 12 lines and as soon as it was all memorized, she asked if there were any more lines she could learn. She did a great job, and said her lines perfectly. But it was too bad that later in the program, she and a boy named Gustavo got into a little shoving match on the very front row of the pulpit, and it ended with Kate crumpling her whole face up into sobbing tears. Everyone kept turning around to look at me, smiling and laughing. I motioned for her to come down off the stage, and she did, but she went and climbed up into the primary chorister's lap instead of mine. She told us that Gustavo was stepping on her toes. It was a cute program, and Kate did a great job all in all.

Oh My Gosh, is she the cutest?? Tag also had his first part in our Primary Program on SUnday and he was too scared to say his part, which was about one line!! Who doesn't love a little rumble on the pulpit??
Rock on Kate! You are amazing! Tess can't wait to talk in that microphone.
what? I don't think i could memorize a part that long! I have a hard time memorizing my own phone number!
What a stinkin doll!
This girl needs a one way ticket to Hollywood! What a cutie!
I second Maryam's comment. That girl is ridiculous (and by ridiculous I mean ... well, ridiculous, how else do you put it when a four year-old talks that well and memorizes parts that long?).
Here's Henry's interpretation of his one-liner for the Primary program:
(mumbled, of course)
"Our Mom and Dad ... (waiting for the teacher to help even though he supposedly had it all memeorized) ... wuv us ... (more help) ... just wike ... (even more help) ... our Heavenwy Mother and Father ... (help) ... wuv us."
Phew. At least he made it.
She is adorable!
Oh, my gosh Adrienne - can she run for President of the United States and have the whole world hear this!!! So adorable!
Love from your long ago Visiting Teacher - Kim Messick
